About this printable Battleship board
This Battleship game board printable from PrintablePaper.net (Savetz Publishing) gives each player a sheet with two 10x10 grids, labelled A to J and 1 to 10: one to place your own fleet and one to record your shots at the opponent. A key lists the five ships and their lengths, from the five-square aircraft carrier to the two-square patrol boat. A third page explains the rules.
Battleship is the classic pencil-and-paper guessing game: hide your ships, call out coordinates, and sink the enemy fleet before yours goes down. See our Battleship rules page for the full rules, strategy tips and variants such as salvo mode.
How to use it
- Print page 1 for one player and page 2 for the other; both are identical. Print extras for rematches.
- Each player draws their five ships on the “my board” grid, horizontally or vertically, hidden from the other player.
- Take turns calling a coordinate such as “E-7”. Mark hits and misses on the “my opponent” grid; announce when a ship is sunk.
- The first player to sink all five enemy ships wins.
